Our Programs

Infants

Infant 1- 6 Weeks through 9 Months

Focus is on early development. Infants are cared for with a focus on individual needs. Close attention is given is areas of movement. The curriculum is designed with time spent in play, music, movement, and stories in a comfortable atmosphere. Music and language are an important focus during this stage. 


  

Infant 2- 10 Months through 15 Months

The focus continues in early development. Music, Stories, Movement, Floor and Table Activities add to a fun day. Art activities which encourage movement are added to the developmental curriculum. Language development is important at this stage. Students will begin stories concentrating on object/word recognition. This group is introduced to Letter, number, color recognition through a variety of art and musica ctivities. Through focusing on developing large motor skills, Children are introduced to a variety of manipulatives and learning centers to develop skills specific to this age group. This group is introduced to Letter, number, color recognition through a variety of art and music activities. Science is added to allow students opportunities to learn about their world. 

   


  

Toddlers

  

Toddler 1- 16 Months through  24 Months

The focus is developing large motor skills. The daily schedule becomes more group oriented. Children are introduced to a variety of manipulatives and learning centers.  to develop learning skills. Both table and floor activities focus on different developmental skills. This group is introduced to Letter, number, color recognition through a variety of art and music activities. Science is added to allow students opportunities to learn about their world. Circle time is for large group games and activities. Language arts is an important part of the day. Structured choice activities allow children to develop personal interest.


  

Toddler 2- 2 Years to 3 Years 

The focus is developing large motor skills. Children are introduced to a variety of manipulatives and learning centers to develop learning skills. This group is introduced to Letter, number, color recognition through a variety of art and music activities. Science is added to allow students opportunities to learn about their world. Circle time is more focused to specific daily learning activities. Students are introduced to writing activities. Large motor skill development is continued through rhythm and movement, games, and outside play.

  

   


Kindergarten-3

  

Kindergarten 3- 3 Years to 4 years

The divided focus is on both large and small motor skills. Language Arts activities are increased to include phonics. Students will begin to focus on word recognition. Math begins pre-addition and subtraction skills. Through music and learning centers students will develop an understanding of sets, patterns, sorting, and numbers.  The addition of writing will help students develop needed small motor skills. Science is focus on weekly units and activities allowing students to explore areas of plant and animal areas.  Through dramatic play they develop socialization skills. Outside time is divided between fun learning areas and choice play. 

   


Kindergarten-4

  

Kindergarten 4- 4 Years to 5 Years

The divided focus is on both large and small motor skills. Language Arts activities are increased to include phonics. Students will begin to focus on word recognition. Math begins pre-addition and subtraction skills. Through music and learning centers students will develop an understanding of sets, patterns, sorting, and numbers. Through dramatic play they develop socialization skills. Outside time is divided between fun learning areas and choice play. 

After-school

  

Afterschool- All students above K-5 through 5th Grade 

Our After-School Program will allow students a balance of choice activities through our various activities. This program will also include tutoring in both reading and math. Students will experience how much fun learning can be as they participate in games and activities that will enhance their school experience.
